The LibertyLink 601 (LL601 - OECD unique identifier BCS-OSØØ3-7) Rice and the LibertyLink 62 (LL62 - OECD unique identifier ACS-OSØØ2-5) Rice contains this genetically construct but it is also present in other GMOs as StarLink Corn and Bt176 Corn. Additionally, the kit contains a reference PCR system for the detection of Rice.\r\n\r\nThe specific detection is according to the validated method of the European Commission (\"Report on the verification of a construct-specific detection method for identification of Rice GM-events containing P35S:BAR using a real-time PCR assay\" from the Joint Research Centre, the Community Reference Laboratory).\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003ch3\u003eSpecifications:\u003c\/h3\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e \u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eTest format: 100 reactions, whereas 50 reactions are used for detection of the reference gene.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eSample preparation: For DNA-preparation of raw material the use of SureFood® PREP Basic (Art. No. S1052), SureFast® Mag PREP Food (Art. No. F1060) and for highly processed food and feed the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced (Art. No. S1053) is recommended. SureFood® PREP Add On (Art. No. S1055) is intended to be used for the extraction of DNA from raw materials as well as processed food and feed with sample weight of 2 g. It is used in conjunction with the SureFood® PREP Basic.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eLOD (Detection limit): The P35S:BAR PCR has a limit of detection of = 5 DNA copies. This is equivalent to approx. 0.01 % for unprocessed Rice grain.
