Therefore the kit contains two PCR systems, one for detection of a chicken specific gene (Chicken detection gene) and one for the detection of an animal gene (Reference gene).\r\n\r\n \r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003ch3\u003eSpecifications:\u003c\/h3\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e \u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eTest format: 2 x 50 reactions. Thereof 50 reactions are used for the detection of the reference gene.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eSample preparation: For DNA-preparation the use of SureFood® PREP Basic and for highly processed food and feed the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced is recommended.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eLOD (Detection limit): The chicken specific PCR has a limit of detection of =  5 DNA-copies. The assay limit of detection depends on sample matrix, processing grade, DNA-preparation and DNA-content.\r\nThe limit of quantitation depends on the concentration of the sample DNA used in the analysis.
