SureFood® ALLERGEN 4plex Soya / Celery / Mustard + IAC

Intended use:

The SureFood® ALLERGEN 4plex Soya / Celery / Mustard + IAC is a multiplex real-time PCR for the direct, qualitative detection and differentiation of specific celery (Apium graveolens), mustard (Brassica carinata, Brassica juncea, Brassica nigra, Sinapis alba, Sinapis arvensis) and soya (Glycine max) DNA sequences according to directive (EC) 1169/2011. Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).

• Test format: 100 reactions


• Sample preparation: For DNA-preparation the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced (Art. No. S1053), protocol 1 or SureFast® Mag PREP Food (Art. No. F1060) is recommended.


• LOD (Detection limit): The SureFood® ALLERGEN 4plex Soya/Celery/Mustard+IAC PCR has a limit of detection of = 0.4 mg / kg using SureFood® PREP Advanced, protocol 1.

General Information:

The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of four fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM, VIC/HEX, ROX and Cy5 at the same time. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Agilent AriaDx, Bio Molecular Systems MIC, Bio-Rad CFX96/Dx, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER and Roche LightCycler® 480 II.
