Intended use:
SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Soya II is a multiplex real-time PCR for the direct, qualitative detection and differentiation of specific genetically modified soya DNA sequences listed as below:- Roundup Ready Soya (RR Soya) (OECD unique identifier MON-Ø4Ø32-6)
- Roundup Ready 2 Yield Soya (RR2Y Soya) (OECD unique identifier MON-89788-1)
- A2704-12 Soya (OECD unique identifier ACS-GMØØ5-3)
- A5547-127 Soya (OECD unique identifier ACS-GMØØ6-4)
Specifications:
- Test format: 100 reactions
- Sample preparation: For DNA-preparation of raw material the use of SureFood® PREP Basic (Art. No. S1052), SureFast® Mag PREP Food (Art. No. F1060) and for highly processed food and feed the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced (Art. No. S1053) is recommended. SureFood® PREP Add On (Art. No. S1055) is intended to be used for the extraction of DNA from raw materials as well as processed food and feed with sample weight of 2 g. It is used in conjunction with the SureFood® PREP Basic.
- LOD (Detection limit): The SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Soya II real-time PCR has a limit of detection of < 5 DNA copies. This is equivalent to approx. 0.01 % of unprocessed soybean.

General Information:
The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of four fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM, VIC/HEX, ROX and Cy5 at the same time. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Agilent Mx3005P, Applied Biosystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas® z 480 Analyzer and Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q.
