SureFood® ALLERGEN Pine Nut

Intended use:

The SureFood® ALLERGEN Pine Nut is a real-time PCR for the direct, qualitative detection of specific pine nut (Pinus spp.) DNA sequences in food. Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).

• Test format: 100 reactions


• Sample preparation: For DNA-preparation the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced (Art. No. S1053), protocol 1 or SureFast® Mag PREP Food (Art. No. F1060) is recommended.


• LOD (Detection limit): The SureFood® ALLERGEN Pine Nut PCR has a limit of detection of = 1 mg / kg using SureFood® PREP Advanced, protocol 1.

General Information:

The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM and VIC/HEX at the same time. The technical verification of instruments was performed on Agilent AriaDx, Bio-Rad CFX96, Bio-Rad CFX96 Opus, Bio-Rad CFX96 Dx, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER and Roche LightCycler® 480 II.
