SureFast® Escherichia coli PLUS

Intended use:

The test detects Escherichia coli DNA. Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).  

Specifications:

• Test format: 100 reactions


• Sample preparation: For DNA-preparation the use of SureFast® PREP Bacteria (Art. No. F1021) or Speed PREP (Art. No. F1054) is recommended.


• LOD (Detection limit): The SureFast® Escherichia coli PLUS real-time PCR has a limit of detection of 5 DNA copies.

General Information:

The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM and VIC/HEX at the same time. The technical verification of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 2.0, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas® z 480 Analyzer, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Applied Biosystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96, LTF MyGo Pro and Agilent Mx3005P.
