The second cartridge contains ion-exchange resins. This pack also contains exclusive Jetpore®, ultrapure grade mixed-bed ion-exchange resin to produce pure and ultrapure water directly from tap water. The SmartPak® needs to be periodically replaced during maintenance of the system.
