As the reservoir is emptied of water, the air entering the system passes through the filter.    \r\nThe vent filters contain a combination of purification media carefully selected to remove airborne contaminants that could lower the quality of the stored pure water.   \r\n  \r\nThe filter’s cartridges are made of polypropylene, polyethersulfone (PES) and styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN).
